Kay O'Donnell & Dick Peterson,  owners a Big Horn Design and Art Gallery are  artists. As sister and brother, they spent extended periods of time in the wilds of Montana and Wyoming. Each pursued their own areas of interest  and love of outdoors from the time they were born.

In 1991, they combined their talents and skills and opened Big Horn Design and Art Gallery in Billings, Montana. As a full service frame shop, they not only build their own line of oak frames, they specialize in custom matting and framing. Gallery art primarily features wildlife art in every medium. Their display talents  are often hired  by Museums, trade shows, and other retailers. They've developed private label ornaments and prints for Yellowstone National Park, KOA Campgrounds of American and others.

With over 30 years of experience as a wood craftsman and artist, Dick Peterson is the lead step of the framing process. From concept of design to accurate measuring each piece that leaves the shop must meet his exact standard.

Kay is a prize winning sculptor Most of her limited editions are sold out. Two of them, "Sioux Lovin" and "Stretchin' Leather are  featured here. " I don't want to create a lot of pieces. I'd rather know what I'm putting out, and feel good abut each piece".

Kay learned beading and porcupine quill work because "Indians and their way of life flows through me as if I had been apart of it". Enjoy some of Kay's commissioned work at Takes to Horses.

Big Horn Design & Art Gallery is dedicated to serving their  clients, individually with

interest, respect and commitment to excellence.
